Rain Ruins Finale of Junior Inter-Zone 7-A-Side
Final Official Results
The 2012 NSW Junior Inter-Zone 7-A-Side Championship, played at Port Macquarie City Bowling Club on 11 and 12 August, was affected by weather and was unable to be completed.
When play on Sunday (12 August) was abandoned, a decision was taken to award the medals and places based on the results of sectional Play on Saturday 11 August.
When the results were declared, the sectional results (not including the bye match, where the two sides from sections 2 and 3 that had the bye played against each other) were used in awarding the placegetters.
Bowls NSW recognises that this calculation was incorrect and that all results from Saturday’s play should have been included in the calculations for determining the ranking of teams for the event.
