Clubs Invited to Apply to be part of the
2010 BowlsBet NSW Premier League | 
| Bowls NSW has opened applications for new sides for the 2010 BowlsBet NSW Premier League. Clubs have the opportunity to become part of the Club based competition recognised as the strongest in the world. Playing in the Premier League is a great opportunity for clubs to promote themselves and the sport of lawn bowls. Boasting a galaxy of stars, the Premier League attracts great media attention, through television, newspapers and internet. The chance to view the superstars of the sport attracts spectators to clubs, while the opportunity to compete at the highest level is a major attraction for clubs and players. The 2010 BowlsBet Premier League will be played between September and December. Sides will feature a minimum of six 'local' players with clubs able to recruit a combination of up to six players, at least three of whom must be from NSW. A maximum of three Interstate or overseas players can be recruited by each Side (as part of their six 'extras'). The balance of the sides encourages local and NSW talent, whilst also ensuring that the competition maintains its edge as the strongest in the world.
